* HPB Day 1 */ 9:26 PM
the long walk doesn't seem to end...
didn't blog yesterday coz of two reasons: i was too tired after a whole day spent dancing in school @ Block E, and also coz i wasn't in the mood.
today was performance + booth duty at Health Promotion Board (HPB)'s "Sports Carnival @ HealthZone". initially we had expected loads of kids and thought it would have been fun... but when J-Wreck first performed at 10am, the only audience were my Influenza plus the other staff around.. and a few passerbys. yeaa. nobody came for the booths' games until noon-time when there were plenty of senior citizens trying out the games.
i tot we were supposed to handle kids?
finally, those students arrived at 1pm+. Eileen and I was in charge of the "Ultimate Golf" booth. it was really tiring yea, had to keep picking up the golf balls and re-placing it for the students to carry on their game. worse still, there were a few students with a really bad attitude...
spoilt brats! sian.
so.. the whole afternoon was spent on picking up golf balls, to and fro... counting the strokes played, and recording the participants' scores. right now my lower back aches a lot, thanks to an almost non-stop of bending down to pick the balls.
it's just plain unlucky for us, coz golf isn't a very common sport so most ppl don't know how to play. that's why many took a lot of strokes to get the ball into the hole. the distance between the ball and the hole is not more than 1 feet okays. -__-"
yeaa. so i suppose u get the idea.
went to Bugis with Regina, Cass, Sharon, Shaf, Arjuna, Li, Su, Ryan and Albin. ate at this air-conditioned coffeeshop, and stayed for a short while to 'chill'. but all of us were too tired to go anywhere else so we all headed home... went home with Regina & Albin... yea. we were all super tired.
tomorrow will be Influenza's turn for the 10am & 2pm performances. i wonder if we would still have enough energy. better not get involved in kickboxing again. (which we did today, and gosh it's tiring)
alrites. juz praying that tmr will be better. =)
