* Facing Fears */ 7:44 PM the past few days were rather okay. just feel quite tired right now.. motion graphics class on thurs weren't good; although i topped my group for my motion graphics assignment, the grade i got was a D+. WTH?! more than 3/4 of the class got a F. and then there are totally unacceptable works that managed to get a D. my work was just half a grade better, but the efforts i had put in were definitely worth more than a D+. i'm quite demoralised by the grades, but since all of us were given a week to redo the assignment, i shall redo it if i can manage it. hopefully i will prove the tutor Jovi wrong. wo yao jia you. danced at block E and practised "peaches & cream" on my own, before i watched the juniors' dance showcase. was super tired by the time i reached home. had web design's CSS test on fri morning. damn it, i didn't do sufficient revision. although i doubt i'll fail, i know that i hasn't managed to accomplish a few stuffs. and my test wasn't completed.. my only consolation was that, most of the class seemed to have struggled. i'm now hoping for the best le. 3D lesson was as good as non-existent. nothing was taught, so i took the time to watch "Just Follow Law" with cz. it's very funny! thumbs up to Fann Wong's acting yea... no wonder everyone was saying that she was superb. then it was FB pract. practised the "passion" choreo with the juniors.. then was their showcase. somehow i just felt that friday's juniors are slightly better than thurs. well, just gotta wait and see who can stand out more in future.. somehow managed to meet up with qi at woodlands.. she shared with me the gd news that she's with derrick le. haha.. feel happy for her, my goldmine dear~. she has found her happiness yeaa.. =) so, chatted with her for a short while before sending her home. by the time i reached back to woodlands mrt, the last bus home was long gone and the next train was coming soon. so i rushed for the train... and guess wad? one of the 2 straps on my bag SNAPPED! sian. i had to attach the broken strap to an awkward position... and i walked home from admiralty mrt, carrying the bag with my hands.. haiiz. i'm just super unlucky these days. =( and i reached home at 12.50am.. sian. went out with FB peeps on saturday! was an outing meant for nick sim; we accompanied him for the day coz he's going for NS soon.. went to cine first before we headed to Heeren, then Wisma and finally Marina Square. ate at Thai Express! haha.. as usual i ate the olive fried rice, for the 3rd time consecutively. just prefers to stick with the tried & tested dish. haha! then left earlier coz i couldn't be home late.. yeaa. overall it was a nice day out, coz i hardly had the chance to go out with FB peeps de.. really treasured the day i spent with them.. hope this won't be the last yeaa! =)) went to singapore expo with my family, for the Car-nival exhibition. but basically it wasn't a very good exhibition, coz all the cars on sale there weren't very good. the high-end cars are not value-for-money, and the lower-end cars... not gd enough to replace my dad's current car. so, trip was kinda wasted. we went to the furniture fair next door, but was also a wasted walk around the exhibition. overall, it was a lousy sunday afternoon. zzz! now just a brief summary of what i gotta go thru: 4 dance performances, 5 design assignments, all within the next 5 weeks! that's crazy isn't it? well, that's how things are. so just in case i can't blog as regularly as before, at least u guys know why. wish me luck yeaa... finally, i faced my own fears. maybe the past had taught me how, and i'm glad that i was braver than wad i thought. let's just hope that as time goes by, i'll be able to live on well with it.... i'm sure i can, and i definitely will. |
