* beauty in the eyes of the beholder */ 12:14 AM  Saw someone super familiar on Sunday Times this morning. The headline reads:"Who says Miss Earth can't save the world?" and the person in the picture was... my first ever tuition teacher, Shiyun!!! wahh. she's now Miss Earth! lols. i know that for the past 2 years she had joined a lot of beauty pageants and gained a lot of experience in all these stuffs. but to finally see her win a crown of her own, i feel happy for her yeaa. =)) and speaking abt beauty pageants, i watched a bit of Miss Singapore Universe today. only a few contestants were beautiful enough, but that isn't the point. well, the eventual winner, Jessica Tan, was one of the 2 that i had predicted to do well, but i feel a bit disappointed coz she still isn't an all-rounded Miss S'pore. the other one, named Peggy, was the one tht i had predicted to go all the way. in the end, she managed to get into the top 5 but not even the top 3. awww. and somehow, i still feel that Singapore have better ladies out there. it's a pity that we don't always see the prettiest ones signing up to join. had spent the whole afternoon drawing on my sketchbook. went out for dinner at Marsiling with my family. that was all for today. cool? and tomorrow will be a better day. |
