* Mediacorp's Call */ 8:38 PM i wonder who gave my contact info to Mediacorp. -__-" received this phone call in the afternoon, whereby this woman claimed that she's calling from Mediacorp. "hello, is this Mr. Soh?" "yes.." "hi. I'm calling from Mediacorp" "huh?" "yes, Mediacorp." "a friend of yours said that you can dance, is it?" "errr.. yes..." "okays. there's this dance competition for the Channel 8 show 'PSC Nite'... you know the show right?" "yes i do" "haha okay. we have an audition this sunday, so are u interested to join with your friends?" "errr..." -___-" and then she goes on and on, rambling about the audition info and telling me the competition format, the prizes, the dates, etc... "given your ability to dance, i hope that you and your friends will grace the event and show the public how good you guys are!" "errr.. haha. i gotta ask around first." "okay. looking forward to good news from you!" "thanks! bye!" she didn't sound like a cheat alrite, although somehow i cannot stop wondering. who the heck gave her my contacts and told her that i can dance? well. now i just gotta ask around and see who's interested in this thing. winner gets $3000. just getting thru the audition alone, u get $300. sounds a bit too good to be true, but given Mediacorp's stature i won't be surprised if it really is. now i just hope that it's true, and someone would join with me and win something together. that would be a great 18th birthday gift. but for now, i'm lowering my expectations coz i doubt anyone would wanna join. not to mention joining it with me... zzz. this incident is probably the only interesting thing that happened all day long. no locking pract, so i didn't go to school. slept for 10 hours after watching soccer till wee hours in the morning. gonna do the same again for tonite i guess? heh. but i wanna go to Jurong early tmr. wanna send my laptop for repair... coz for dno wad reasons a lot of stuffs are gone. simple applications like wordpad, volume control, and stuffs like my DVD-drive is gone from the system. my 1 year warranty is ending on 9th April, so i better go send my laptop back to Acer soon... =( yea. tht's abt it. last but not least, to the one who gave Mediacorp my contacts: PLS OWN UP LAHH. sian. |
