* Father's Day */ 11:59 PM  Marina Skyline. Pic taken with my K800i! =p A digital drawing done by me..this is probably the best Father's Day ever. okay i'm not anyone's dad, but at least this is the best Father's Day ever spent for my dad. =) Gin's dance class ytd was alrite, everyone of us had presented our views on the video tht Gin told us to watch. that alone took us more than an hour.. hmmmz. then we did some intensive warm-ups... i had to leave halfway though, coz i needed to meet up with my family to have our dinner. thankfully i heard tht i didn't miss out on a lot for the class either. yea.. ate Ding Tai Feng! woahh. it was my first time eating there in fact, even though i've heard about its good food from a lot of ppl long before.. and guess wad, the dinner costs my dad $95, inclusive of 10% service charge + 5% GST. still, i think it was worth the money.. just imagine, 3 servings worth of xiao long bao!!! that's 30 xiao long baos shared by 5, and my mum didn't really eat alot as well... my 2 bros were particularly addicted to the xiao long bao as well as the restaurant's noodles.. extra servings were ordered yeaa.. scary. and i bought my dad a slice of Choc Truffle Cake! he accused me of trying to make him fatter, but heck, i know he loved it. hahaha... he said the choc was very rich! =D hopefully nxt year i can get a better gift for my dad. hmmms. didn't really sleep well even though we were staying over at Swissotel. maybe it's because i slept a bit late coz i was drawing the digital painting shown above; maybe it's because Jun Wen (who shared the bed with me) didn't allow me a lot of space to sleep; or maybe.. it's because there were too many things on my mind. i really dunno. woke up extra late in the morning. and when i woke up, my family already had their breakfast except Jun Wen. he stayed to accompany me while he watched cartoon in the room. zzzz... so we booked out earlier, Jun Wen and I ate our breakfast at Macs, before my family and i went to Suntec for shopping.. my aunt came along yea. and my dad bought rollerblades for my 2 bros and myself! he got one for himself too. hmmmm.. rare of him to be so super generous. haha! and my dad got me a Houston Rockets cap too. nice. =) after lots of shopping at Carrefour, we left to have a meal at Upper Thomson.. ate at this eatery serving HK cuisine, and gosh it was really nice. i think one day i ought to bring some friends there to eat yea. apparently a night's stay out of home didn't work for me. yes i didn't had distractions from being online, but i couldn't help it and my mind still wandered off... only a wee bit of work was done for the night and i can only blame myself... being away from home and away from being online only served to make my mind think even more than usual. this is really, really bad... it is just true that, the more i try to let go, the tighter i tend to hold... haiiz. =( |
