* improvement? */ 2:30 AM

KO Night battle rounds are over,
and now it's left with the grand finals on 5th Sept.
How fast time flies! =/

(on a sidenote, click here to find out more abt the finals ->click!)

I shall not indulge in the joy of getting to the finals now,
because it's not even certain that Fonkay Styles is gonna win.
Celebration shall come only when it's all over,
be it a victory or not on that fateful day itself.
I just wish for everything to be over soon, really.
Though i will definitely give my 200% for the finals.

Just have some thoughts on my mind now,
after the two battles last night.

Admittedly i wasn't at my best. I was even off-form.
And the audience was strangely abit muted too.. somehow.
It felt very different from the previous two rounds.
Or maybe it's just me feeling sian. perhaps.

The battle against Air Line,
much as we won, i was more like a spectator in a way.
I enjoyed Air Line's performance
even though it's clear that they've juz started locking not too long ago.
At least they gave their all,
despite knowing that they're already out of the competition.
And their sets were really entertaining!
respect, respect.

As for myself, i didn't know the music. I swear.
But i was fortunate to have managed to recognise the music patterns.
So it turned out okay i guess.
=)

Then it was the battle against SLZ,
for which our very own Mel from FB had replaced Bboy Zul
to partner with Melissa.
They're dope!
Especially for Mel, considering it's her first time doing locking,
first time battling, and she really did well!
As for the tag i did with her,
it was a last minute spur-of-the-moment idea between us. haha!

Well, In the end they won, and rightfully so.
Fong and I simply didn't go straight for the win;
we just wanted to enjoy ourselves, and we did. =)

At least it was a happy ending for everyone.
FonKay Styles and Faith Society Crew got into the finals as expected,
while Mel did well for her first time in a battle,
and everyone enjoyed themselves for the night.
=))

My reflections about the whole thing so far?
Well.. simply said, I still have a long way to go.
I still dun see myself as a dope locker,
though i do admit that i have improved much.
But i'm still not consistent enough.
Now i gotta find time to practice,
in the midst of handling other priorities..
especially for my family, my baby, and my studies. =)

Thanks to all those who came down to support ytd!
Sorry if anyone of u were disappointed somehow by our performance.
But we will definitely put up a great show in the Finals! =)

Big thanks to Fong and Diane,
for all the things given to me ytd.
But fong, i still wanna pay u back somehow.
=/

And as usual, most importantly of all,
THANKS BABY FOR COMING DOWN TO SUPPORT!
thanks so much for coming down,
even though u couldn't have enough time to finish ur hw,
and now u're rushing work despite feeling unwell.
i really appreciate it dear, but at the same time i feel guilty.
=((

i love baby. <3

i just can't wait for KO night to be over,
then FTL and FB production.
I badly want to rest,
but now it's really hard to. sigh.
I wanna have more time for my other priorities. =(

and it's really late now.
hope baby can pull thru this week.
i shall help her as much as i can...

locking is the passion.
jeanie is the love.
=))
