* Just Another Monday */ 2:12 PM
Blogging while at FYP again. At this moment my project mates are out having their break, while I'm here slacking after having my lunch.
October is reaching, and a hectic schedule awaits. Coming up first is 1st year anniversary with Baby! Then there's many others that follows... FB Production practices, photoshoots, showcases... Lion City Lockers sessions + Floor The Love performing practices.. And not forgetting my own FYP project that will be really taxing. October is the month of non-stop scripting, graphics, and debugging. All these will last till at least November.
And then there comes December whereby more challenges await. The more power the more responsibilities? Ha. I just gotta do my best for everything.
Meanwhile I've won a mini locking battle competition on Sunday, which was organised by K-lock and hosted by Natashas Studio. Got $200 for the prize money! =)) well ok i still have $50 with K-lock but that's fine, i can get it back from him another day. At least now i have enough money to spend for baby! 1st year anniversary's budget is settled... Guess i'm really lucky this time round. =))
Honestly speaking I wasn't that happy to win the competition. I mean.. i'm happy to win the $ of coz, as i had needed it.. but it does feel weird to win the competition against inexperienced lockers. I am not despising them or looking down on them; On the contrary i respect every one of them for putting in their best efforts and put on a brave front in every single battle. But it's a fact that I had an advantage with my experience from KO Night, and personally i felt unfair for those guys who battled their hearts out. Sorry guys, i just needed the money. Otherwise I would have taken up K-lock's offer to be the judge instead..
Hopefully one day, as these guys get better, everyone will have an equal opportunity to win something. And I'll just be happily watching everyone dancing to their hearts' content. =)
Meanwhile i'm kinda hooked on by F1 now. Thanks to the live telecast of the F1 Night Race on television last night... Now i finally understood the charm of F1. It's not about the sheer speed of the cars alone, but also the drama in the races, the booming atmosphere at the circuit itself, the festival mood among the audiences, and also the mechanical sophistication of the race cars itself.
Wished I was one of the photographers there.. I would love to be there, taking pictures of F1 cars racing past me just like this:
Well yeaa.
Okay guess i gotta go. Having my first interim presentation for FYP at 3pm!
