It's Team Trademark.. proud of them! =)

yesterday was really one of the best days i ever had in FB.
such an overwhelming sense of euphoria and delight,
such a warm sense of belonging...

CONGRATS TO TEAM TRADEMARK FOR BEST DANCE ROUTINE (aka Champions)!

well, i headed down to Orchard at 5pm...
went to Takashimaya first to exchange one of my bro's gift,
which is a toy car model with 1 tyre missing. -_-"
i exchanged it for another model.. yea.

met up with the juniors at Cine,
and headed to the nearby Youth Park.
by the time we reached there, it was already very crowded.

so after 2 hours of waiting,
watching countless of time-wasting performances in the meantime,
the dance competition finally commenced.

the dance standards were pretty good,
the first few teams were kinda strong..
Tricia's group especially.
i thought that if Team Trademark wouldn't win,
then it would be her team who deserves the crown next.

so Team Trademark was the very last team to perform,
and we screamed like crazy..
surprisingly, Stage Arts came to lend their support i think.
they were all seated right in front of the stage,
while FB supporters scattered around left right and center at the back.
so Trademark practically had supporters all around yea,
and little wonder that even the judges were overwhelmed by our support.
=)

and Trademark delivered a great show!
all of us supporters were so high thru out,
we even sang to the tune of some of the song they danced to..
such as "streets melting" and "we belong together".
it felt really heart-warming to have everyone singing together,
to show our support for Team Trademark.
FB family spirit, i say. =D

one of the judge, Andy Wong from J-Team productions,
had very good comments for Trademark.
and here's what he said:
"i think this grp spent more money than the previous grp ah.
the previous grp bought over only the grp in front.
this grp here bought over the entire place!
and they enjoyed themselves entirely thru the whole dance,
their sense of rhythm is very very strong...
one plus point for this grp is that,
they have very good looking guys.
they also have 3 "E"s to this show.
first of all they met my requirement of high Entertainment value,
they have high Energy level,
and i'm excited by their Excitement."

good comments eh? haha..
and meanwhile i think everyone in the crowd was unhappy with the hosts.
they were very very racists.
"ohh i'm different from those void-deck malays, i'm more upper-class"
"so chinese can dance eh?
i thought chinese only know how to do para para sakura!"

i think the hosts deserved to be sued and jailed for life.
so unprofessional of them,
even though they were funny and humourous at times.
perhaps they were carried away by the atmosphere,
but that's no excuse for being racist and discriminating.
shame on them...

anyways, Team Trademark won the Best Dance Routine,
which is equivalent to 1st place,
won $2000 cash,
and also won a contract with J-Team productions (Jack Neo's company).
cool eh? lols.

so some of us stayed to hang around Orchard for supper..
bought food from Cine and brought to the SingTel building nearby to eat.
we chatted and even played Hide and Seek there..
was quite fun. haha!

went home by my grandma's cab.
accompanied her for supper at Newton Circus before we went home..
reached at 3am. zzzz..
super late.. hasn't reached home so late for a long time.
but i'm happy. =)

meanwhile, Wei Fong told me more details abt the locking comp in sept.
the format has now changed again,
for which we can choose our own partners and join as a pair.
I will be taking part with Fong,
while Ian will be taking part with a surprising partner...
Willow Lock from France!
omfg. Willow Lock is even better than Ian lah!
it's a terrifying and yet exciting prospect of lining up against them.
hopefully the 4 of us will progress to finals...
won't want to be against each other early in the knockout rounds.
=/

in contrast to ytd,
today's a boring day.
only the drawing sketchbook and my laptop accompanies me.
haiiiz.

等待也是无价的幸福。 =)
