2009 Resolutions + 2008 reflections/ 10:02 PM 2009 IS COMING! And so here's my new year resolutions/wishlist... wanna post it today coz i foresee a lack of time and energy for me to blog or on new year's eve. So here i go! (not by order of merit/preference/whatever u call it) Wishlist + Resolutions: Dance-Related 1. Win KO NIGHT 2009! 2. Go Taiwan's Max Party and meet Aga, Yaobai, Elmo & other dope lockers! 3. Perform for The Big Groove 2009 4. Be part of Sunset Alleycats... (sigh) 5. Be a responsible and inspiring locking instructor 6. Bring Lion City Lockers to greater heights. 7. Get my first derby hat, sexy diamond gears, dunks and more dance wears! 8. Educate FB's next batch of lockers (Aud, Mike, KS, Jin, Ray, and more?) 9. Choreograph again for next FB Production. 10. Join a hip hop competition before I go for NS! Others: 1. Work for 77th Street even after internship is over! 2. Save enough $$$ to get an ipod touch! 3. Save enough $$$ to go Genting with my mum. 4. Do well for Fusion 09's Design Portfolio! 5. Buy new lens for my DSLR Camera. 6. Take part in more photography competitions! 7. Take driving licence! 8. Go for fitness workouts and get ready for NS! 9. Play soccer with my B26 guys again. I miss you guys a lot. 10.Go home earlier and spend more time with family. 11. To be together with a special somebody... That's 21 wishes/resolutions! I'll keep my fingers crossed that all of them will happen. =) Now i just wanna blog about my reflections for 2008. Will try to keep it short. First of all, 2008 had been a truly emotional rollercoaster ride. It had provided me with a lot of memories, be it good or bad... and it's the most happening year ever in my life. I love 2008, and hate 2008 at the same time. In terms of studies, it had been really crappy, but I'm fortunate to end up at 77th Street now and everything is going really well at the moment. I love working here and it feels great! FYP was the worst memory ever in DMD, no thanks to my chicken pox as well as conflicts with my 2 grp mates. It was also a period of time whereby I struggled to cope, with both my studies and love life adversely affected. Sigh. In terms of dance, it's the year where i learnt and improved the most. Winning KO Night was the best memory ever in my dance life, and to have met so many dope lockers this year was really awesome! From Gemini to H&B to AKA Ra, then to Yaobai and Elmo... It's like a big dream come true! Meeting 5 well known international lockers... wow. I'm just like a kid, awe-struck by the appearance of his idols. My greatest personal pride came in handling the LCL. Big props for Ian aka Chunky, the man who gave me so many chances to prove myself. Passing down LCL to me was a big honour, and i'm proud to see members of LCL improving. There's more and more lockers now in Singapore too! Right now, I'm going to embark a new journey from 2009 onwards... And that's to be a dance instructor at Natasha Studio! It feels exciting and I can't wait! =D I'm picking up a bit of hip hop again now, and I want to go further as welll... In terms of friendship, I'm really sorry that almost all of my friendships are suffering, mostly a result of me being too involved with dance and with my prev r/s. sorry ppl. i just couldn't find time to meet up, go for outings and all. I'm truly sorry, especially to the following ppl: -B26 guys for not joining u guys for soccer on Saturdays... -Shiqi and Ruth for not being able to meet up or msg u two often -Kes and CY for giving u two trouble whenever i have r/s problems. -Any other friends who had been trying to reach me but can't... I want to meet up with a lot a lot of ppl soon, starting with my B26 guys... and MR TAN CHOON HANG IF U SEE THIS U BETTER MSG ME! STUPID BESTIE, I HAVE NOT MET U EVER SINCE U WENT BOTAK FOR ARMY! -___-" Last but not least. A conclusion about my love life... My entire year was almost devoted completely to the one i loved. Almost every single day, and every single second i could squeeze out for her. It's sad that things had turned out this way, but now I still firmly believe that breaking up was the best option for both parties. I won't say much, I just wanna wish her the best of happiness from now on... As for myself, I dunno if I am falling for someone else now. A lot of doubts and self-denials are going thru my mind... Hopefully I can sort out my thinking soon, and make the best decision for all... Ceekay shall not be impulsive and impatient with everything. I shall wait and think it through carefully. =) Anyways, big thanks to the following ppl who had helped me lots recently. Puaz Kor for your advice, encouragements and insights... made me learn a lot! Kes for helping me out and listening to my problems so many times. I insist on treating you a meal someday. Audrey for accompanying me online when I'm at work, never failing to make me laugh even at the most tiring and stressful times. You're just like a bubbly sister that never fails to cheer her bro up. =) Thanks! Diane for standing up for me a couple of times on my tagboard. Thanks so much too... =) Fong, for taking over the locking ppl during production while i was suffering from chicken pox and couldn't come to sch. It muz have been damn hard on you bro. Thanks lots! Lastly, Bboy Larry, for giving me the opportunity to teach at Natasha Studio! Anyone else that I have not mentioned, I still do appreciate it if you've helped me in any ways.
