* dxo performance! */ 11:44 PM     1. DXO 2. My "Performing Artist" tag! 3. Ryuta & Mikal at the dance floor. 4. The funky locking girls! today's been great. =) went down to town to eat beef-ball noodles with my family, before my dad dropped me off at suntec and left me to walk to DXO on my own. well, DXO is surprisingly small, and not as posh as i had tot it would be.. after all, it's rather well known and it's just beside the Esplanade. naturally i was expecting it to be more classy... it turns out to be just like any other normal pub. except that it has some nice chandeliers on the 2nd floor. had rehearsed only once, then we spent the rest of the time taking lots of pics and laming around like nobody's business. the entire thing started at 4+, and suprisingly there were a lot of ppl. i've never heard a crowd cheer so loudly for us before.. the loudest i had heard was previously from Open House. but these ppl here.. they aren't our own students. they are the public. and they can cheer louder than our own students, as compared to what we had for club crawl & Jam N Hop. the performance was great! loved the lighting, loved the atmosphere, loved the audience. although i made a few mistakes here and there, i think overall all of us did great! and on video it looked like our best locking performance ever. =) moreover, i met caijing today! haha. hasn't see her for quite some time yea, and i'm grateful to her for helping me to take the video for our performance.. =)) saw jun cheng too. and apparently my pri sch classmate Ye Chuan was there as well.. surprising. lols. btw m.a.t.k. inc's kids are great dancers yeaa, they got very good groove and musicality. and i've witnessed some cool bboy + popping battling on the dancefloor too. one of the best battles i've seen, probably better than the one at Danceworks. muz say that, i'm impressed. hmmms. dunno why but i dun seem to be able to start on my work tonite. rarrr. this is bad. video for dxo performance is gonna be uploaded onto youtube tmr! more pics to be uploaded too once shaf sends me the ones she took. =) 为幸福守候 |
